Meet Mandy DiMarzo and the BURN Workout

We are so excited to introduce you to our friend Mandy DiMarzo, the brains behind the BURN fitness platform. Working out with Mandy is like having a personal trainer and best friend push you to your limits in the best way possible. She’ll kick your butt and inspire you to keep going no matter how much you may want to quit. Her workouts are fierce, fun and sooo effective.

What’s your favorite exercise move?

I LOVE burpees...not because they are easy. Nothing worth it is ever easy and nothing easy is ever worth it!

What’s your go-to healthy snack?

I love macadamia nuts! They are super healthy and chock full of really good fats that help your muscles recover, your brain function and your body perform the way you want it to.

Name a guilty pleasure:

CHOCOLATE! I have a fierce sweet tooth and I don’t believe in deprivation so I have some form of chocolate (in moderation!) every day.

How do you motivate even on your least inspiring days?

I remind myself of how good I feel after I sweat. I try to bottle up that feeling so on the days I don't want to workout I can remember why it’s worth it. After a good sweat I feel I can take on anything. While I cannot control what happens in my day, I can control my response and my response is always stronger when I have completed a workout.

What got you into exercising when you were younger?

My dad turned me onto soccer at a very young age and I just fell in love with the sport and being on a team. I loved what it felt like to work together and achieve something as a group. I loved the lessons that sports gave me and they have carried me through all the chapters of my life. Being and staying active, no matter what shape that takes, is imperative to a healthy AND HAPPY life. Those endorphins you feel when you work out are real. They have the power to completely change your outlook and perspective and attitude. You just need to find the time for movement, even if it’s 10 minutes a day, and you will reap the rewards.
